Introduction
Prof.Dr. Geerten M.M. Michielse (1960) is director of the Center for
Taxation and Public Governance, a knowledge center for tax
governance in Amsterdam (NL). Its mission is to contribute to the
strengthening of governments in the fields of tax policy, tax
administration, tax management and legal drafting. In addition, he
teaches (international) tax laws at the university of Utrecht.
Furthermore, he is a regular consultant for the International Monetary
Fund and the World Bank (IFC) in Washington DC (USA).
